Process OverviewWhat is Deburring?
Deburring is a finishing and post-processing operation used to remove burrs, sharp edges, material residue, or excess generated during manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, injection molding, casting, stamping, or industrial cutting.
The process helps improve handling safety, assembly fit, functional performance, and visual appearance of the finished part. Depending on the material and geometry, deburring can be performed manually, mechanically, chemically, or through automated processes.
Deburring is widely used on CNC machined parts, molded components, metal parts, engineering plastics, medical devices, and industrial products where a clean, safe part ready for assembly or final use is required.
