-88.88%C18200 copper (UNS C18200, chromium copper, RWMA Class 2) is copper with 0.6–1.2% chromium. Heat treated, it reaches 65–80 HRB hardness and keeps an electrical conductivity of about 80% IACS, and it doesn’t soften until about 500 °C. That is why it is used for spot welding electrodes and caps, seam welding wheels, contacts and parts that carry current under heat and pressure.
