If your drawing doesn’t specify tolerances, we machine to ISO 2768-m (medium). On dimensions you call out —holes, counterbores, fits and flatness— we can hold ±0.025 mm (±0.001 in), and critical dimensions are checked in inspection.
Titanium grade 2 is machined with CNC milling, CNC turning, drilling and tapping. It conducts little heat, so the heat stays at the cutting edge: it is cut at low speed, with a steady feed, sharp carbide tooling and plenty of coolant, so the surface doesn’t work harden and the tool doesn’t burn.
Because it resists corrosion and stays light, titanium grade 2 is used in many parts made with CNC machining.
