Material OverviewWhat is Stainless Steel 17-4 PH?
17-4 PH stainless steel (UNS S17400, type 630, ASTM A564) is a martensitic precipitation hardening stainless steel with 17% chromium, 4% nickel and 4% copper. It is bought in Condition A (solution annealed), machined, and then aged at a low temperature to give it its strength: in H900 it exceeds 1,310 MPa (190 ksi) tensile and 40 HRC. At PREMSA we CNC mill and turn it from your file: clevises, shafts, brackets, valve and pump parts and high-strength components, starting at a single part with an instant price.
