How do I use part templates?

Templates are common parts ready to customize, no CAD file needed. You choose the part, adjust its dimensions and see the 3D model right away. Then you choose material, finish and quantity.

How it works, in three steps

• 1. Template: in Templates, choose the part. For example: plain bushing.

• 2. Customize: adjust each dimension within its range and watch the 3D model update. You can also add chamfers or fillets on each edge and a tolerance or a fit per dimension.

• 3. Configure: choose process, material, finish, general tolerance and quantity, and add notes if you need them. Then click Send to review.

Good to know

• You can download the model as STEP to use it in your own design.
• If the dimension you need is outside the template’s range, or your part isn’t on the list, upload your own CAD or request a manual quote.
