Your ZIP is saved to your quote as a reference file: you won’t see your parts in 3D, they don’t go through the DFM analysis, and your quote stays in engineering review until we finish it by hand.
Upload several parts at once
You don’t have to upload them one by one. Drag all your files together into the upload box, or in “Select files” pick several: with Ctrl on Windows or Cmd on Mac. You can upload up to 10 files per batch. If you have more, upload the first 10 and add the rest to the same quote. Each part becomes a line of your quote, with its own process, material, finish and quantity, and all of them add up to one total.
Upload each part’s PDF drawing alongside it, if it has one. Leave out full assemblies, off-the-shelf hardware and native files from your CAD program: those are not quoted instantly either. More in How do I prepare my file for a quote?.
Unzip your file
- On Windows: Right-click your ZIP › “Extract All” › “Extract”. A folder with your files appears next to the ZIP.
- On Mac: Double-click your ZIP. The folder appears in the same place.
- On iPhone or iPad: Open the Files app and tap your ZIP; it unzips into the same folder.
If you’d rather send your ZIP
Your ZIP can be up to 50 MB; a single 3D model, up to 150 MB. Along with your 3D models, you can include your drawings and any technical files for your parts: specifications, bills of materials, quality requirements or manufacturing notes. We open it, organize your files and set up each part in your quote with its drawing. We email you as soon as your price is ready.
