It depends on the process, not on the size of your company or how many parts you order.
Turnaround by process
- FDM 3D printing: instant. Price and lead time appear as soon as the part is sliced, usually in under a minute.
- CNC machining (milling and turning): 2 to 4 business hours. An engineer reviews the engine proposal against your drawing and tolerances.
Business hours are Monday to Friday, Monterrey time (Central Mexico). If you upload on a Friday afternoon, your price arrives on Monday.
When it takes longer
- An assembly with several solid bodies in one file: each part is quoted separately.
- A drawing and model that do not match, or unspecified threads and finishes.
- Very high quantities or off-catalog materials that need supply confirmation.
In those cases we write to you instead of guessing. Here is what slows a quote down.
How you find out
You get an email and the quote status changes in the portal. From there you download the PDF, adjust quantities and turn it into an order.
