No need to upload the file or configure the part again. From the previous order you choose reorder and the full configuration —material, finish, tolerance and quantity— is copied as is.
When it goes straight through and when it is reviewed
A manufacturing price depends on what material, machine hours and finishes cost today. So when you reorder, we compare the previous price against what it would cost today:
- If the price is less than 15 days old and no cost went up, the part goes straight to your cart at that price.
- If more than 15 days passed or something went up —material, machine rate or a finish—, a quote with the same configuration is created and an engineer reviews it. You lose nothing you already had.
If the part changed
If your part has a new revision, upload the new file: it is quoted as a new part so price and inspection match what will actually be made.
