How long does it take to make my part?

Prototypes and low-volume orders leave our plant in 1 to 10 business days. For production, lead time depends on quantity and appears with the price on your quote, so you know the date before you pay.

Lead time starts when your payment is confirmed and covers the entire in-plant process: Material preparation, manufacturing, inspection and packing. If your part has a finish, such as anodizing, painting or heat treatment, the lead time on your quote already includes it.

For 3D printing, lead time depends on how many hours your part prints and how many fit on a build plate. That is why an order of many small parts can ship almost as fast as a single part.

To get your parts sooner, use the general tolerance wherever your part does not need a tighter one and choose standard materials. If an order has several parts, we can also ship the ones that are ready first.

If you need your parts by a specific date, note it in your quote and we will confirm whether we can meet it before manufacturing.

The carrier's transit time is added to the manufacturing lead time. You see it for each shipping option in the cart, or you can pick up at no cost at our plant in Monterrey.
