Every quote includes its lead time in business days. It is not a generic number: it is calculated for your part and your quantity.
What it depends on
- Preparation: sourcing material, programming the machine and getting into the shop queue.
- Production: how many parts come off per day given the cycle time. Twice the parts is not always twice the days, but it adds up.
- Finishes: anodizing, painting or heat treatment are done by specialized suppliers and add days.
- 3D printing: how many build plates are needed and how many hours each one prints.
Shipping is separate
The quote lead time is manufacturing time. At checkout you choose the carrier and see its transit time to your address, or you can pick up at our plant in Monterrey.
If you need a date
Write it in your quote notes. If the normal lead time does not make it, we tell you what can be done —for example, shipping part of the order earlier— instead of promising a date that will not happen.
