Can I get a quote without a CAD file?

Yes, there are three ways to do it.

We have configurable base parts in our templates: Choose the part, enter its dimensions and add it to your quote, with no CAD file. We are constantly adding base parts, so more templates become available all the time.

If you have an old paper drawing or just an idea of what you need, you can request a manual quote. For the most accurate estimate, include what the part is and what it does, its approximate dimensions, the material or application, the quantity you need and when you need it. You can attach photos, scanned drawings, screenshots or any reference.

If you have a technical drawing but not the 3D model, upload it to the quoter and send it with Request PREMSA review; we quote it from your drawing. We don't model from physical parts. More in Can you make the 3D model of my part?.

Without a 3D model, a manual quote gives you an estimate for your project, not a firm quote. Once you have the file, upload it to the quoting platform and get your price instantly.
